My Neighbors Are Going Too Far!!!!!!!

Right now, I'm so frustrated with my neighbors, I could spit nails.
The incident happened a couple of days ago, but it still bothers me and while I don't want to use my blog for bitching and venting, I can't help myself anymore.

There is just way too much backstory for this, so I'll skip it. I highly doubt my neighbors will read my blog, but just in case, I don't want to give them any more ammo to use against us...

My brother, who loves working on his idiotic cars, bought a bunch of junkers off friends and begged our mother to let him keep them in our front yard. This is very annoying to her, but she said yes, in spite of herself. So our yard looks like a freaking junkyard. Something that was, which I might add, pointed out bluntly by one of my neighbors. personally, it's none of his business. It's our yard and my brother has all the titles to these junkers.

Okay, so the other afternoon, my brother came over to the house. (He is hardly at our house anymore, because he practically lives at his girlfriends.) My brother was planning to start chopping up one of the junkers so he could finally get it out of the yard. He was probably working on it for about an hour and a half. He stops, and what should happen? A cop shows up.

My brother saw the cop approach. The cop asked what address this was, and my brother told him that, plus that hey, he'd stopped already.
Next thing that happens? Another cop shows up! And the second cop, to the first cop, asks if it's a chop shop. My brother heard him and was like, hey, I've got ALL the titles. If you want to see them, you're welcome to do so.

The cops left.

Naturally, I would think. We're not doing anything wrong!

What happened angers me! It infuriates me! It makes me so furious that I want to run into the street and yell at them to leave us the $*&^%%** alone!!!!!

As for what happened, I personally think that one of the neighbors didn't believe my mother when she told people that my brother had all the titles to the cars. I think they were hoping the cops would bust my brother or something.

Whatever...

First of all, what would that solve? Would it give them something to talk about? Would it give them pleasure to see other people's misery? If that's the case, I sure hope a lightning bolt hits their house.

Okay, maybe I don't, but I sure do feel sorry for them that they do this kind of crap.

So, the ending to this story is that the cops went away, and all is well...

For now, anyway.

Until the next time my brother comes and they call the cops again.

Sigh. My heart can't take this.

What is wrong with my neighbors? Don't they realize that calling the cops for everything is wasting city money? They need a new hobby. Like eating ice cream. I hear it works wonders.
